WHO ARE WE?

European Waterways boasts a majestic fleet of 12 opulent hotel barges, catering primarily to an English-speaking clientele, as they embark on an enchanting cruises through the serene canals and rivers of France, Ireland, Scotland, and Holland. With half a century of expertise, we weave a tapestry of experiences to fulfil our customers’ desires, all while upholding a service quality that reflects our elevated standards.

Pilot (M/F)

A central crew member for navigation and responsible for the appearance and proper functioning of the hotel barge, he must have good mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Deckhand (M/F)

Our deckhands have an essential role on board our barges. They mainly have a role of assisting the pilot in order to ensure navigation but also aguarantor of the standards linked to the exterior of the barge.

Tour Guide (M/F)

Requires a dynamic and flexible individual who is a good communicator and has a true love of history, culture and gastronomy.

Chef (M/F)

The chef must have a good working knowledge of cuisine in general, French cuisine in particular, and have an active interest in the cuisine of the region hat he will be working in.

Hostess/ Host (M/F)

Being a hostess on a hotel barge, your time will be split between housekeeping and table service. This will allow you to have a key role on the inside of the barge and be at the closest to our guests, making sure their vacation is nothing less than exceptional.

Maintenance Team

We are hiring for our base in Burgundy, France, carpenter’s, plumbers and general maintenance workers.
